Description[]
Adar is an NPC who acts as both progression for the Silentheart Oath and the Ironsing trainer.
In order to obtain Ironsing, you must bring the 6 main Ores to Adar (Iron, Gold, Erisore, Irithine, Astruline, and Umbrite). You can only do this when you have talked to Rudral and shown him a Pluripotent Alloy or if you have obtained Ironsing before on a previous Slot.
Location[]
Adar can be found inside a tower on the left side of the end of the bridge at Miner's Landing.
Moveset[]
Adar uses a Darksteel Greatsword alongside the Ironsing attunement.

After speaking to Rudral with a Pluripotent Alloy / Having Obtained Ironsing Before
- Rudral said you were interested in Pluripotent Alloys?
Adar: Ah! Yes. That's right. Though what I'm truly interested in is replicating the art of Ironsing.
- Ironsing?
Adar: Indeed. An attunement that has been in decline since the Canticlysm was brought to an end by the Tides. We can harness metal from our surroundings - even trace amounts can be used to great effect. I myself am a user of it by birth, but...
- But?
Adar: But... I never knew my parents. The Union took me in off the streets. The living Ironsingers out there guard its secret pretty closely, so there's a lot we don't know about it. They'd have my neck if they found me here! What I do know is that there is a tremendous potential within this art. I seek to give others the chance to realise it.
- And how would you do that?
Adar: I have some theories. It's said that the discovery of Pluripotent Alloy was what led to Ironsing's development, and that's the line of questioning I've chosen to follow. Interestingly, they say that the combination of a catalyst and the right frame of mind are what induce the attunement to an element of the Song.
- A catalyst?
Adar: That's right. For example, Thundercallers are often attuned through the use of Spark Glands and the blood of another Thundercaller. I'm looking to find the catalyst for attaining Ironsing. Pluripotent Alloy induces unique effects when applied to metal. I believe that with a few adjustments, it could be made to induce changes in the human body.
- How can I help?
Adar: In my research, I managed to break down the components of Pluripotent Alloy down into 6 metals: Iron, Gold, Erisore, Irithine, Astruline, and Umbrite. If you can get me the raw forms of these metals, I might be able to create an elixir of some kind to induce such changes in you, should you be willing.
- Alright, I'll do it.
ㅤㅤAdar: Great! I look forward to our future collaborations, friend.
ㅤ2. Ironsing? Sounds lame.
ㅤㅤAdar: It's okay to admit that you weren't listening.
Talking to Adar while missing an ore
Adar: Any luck finding the ores?
- Here.
Adar: Ah... Seems like you're missing something. In all, I'll need Iron, Gold, Erisore, Irithine, and Umbrite.
- [End Dialogue]
Talking to Adar while having all ores
Adar: Any luck finding the ores?
- Here.
Adar: *They take the ores and process them through various methods, finally yielding and iridescent liquid and decanting it into a vial.*
- So, what next?
Adar: Now, if I'm right... This shouldn't do you too much harm. Err. No pain no gain, right? *He looks awkwardly from side to side, evidently unsure if this is going to work.*
- [End Dialogue]
After obtaining Ironsing
Adar: Ahah! Another success, it seems that all the failures last month were corrected! Er. Ahem. If you need any tutoring in this art, let me know. I'd be happy to be your mentor.
- [End Dialogue]
Adar: Hmm... Oh! If you have need of some Ironsing teaching, I can probably help you. Lot of folks have been coming by lately - feels good to see my work recognised!
Upgrading mantras
Adar: Ah, do you have need of a little teaching on Ironsing?
- Yes, I do.
(No Mantras/Fully upgraded) Adar: Hmm. you look all good to me. Nothing to improve on right now.
- [End Dialogue]
(With Mantras) Adar: What did you wanna focus on?
- (mantras)
Adar: Oh yeah, I can see room for improvement. If you fund my research a bit I can give you some pointers. How does 100 Notes sound?
- Could you give me some pointers?
Adar: That's it. you've nailed it!
- [End Dialogue]
(Not enough notes) Adar: Oh, err. Afraid I can't help you for free right now. Money's a bit tight.
- [End Dialogue]

Trivia[]
- Adar's appearance, specifically his hair, derives from one of K1LLUAA's outfits.
- Adar's red scars are of Heliodar markings, though Adar himself is not a Heliodar.
- Formerly, Adar could not be killed for Silentheart progression and when talking to him while being one would prompt a message of him saying: "Huh? Why are you giving me those looks for?" The 11/10/23 update finally allowed him to be fought and killed.
- He does not use the legendary weapon of his respective Attunement unlike other trainers, due to him having a weapon already on his back.
