Battle Royale is a weekends only gamemode that takes place on Kingmaker's Isle in the Open Sea. Players spawn with nothing but rags, a flimsy glider, and a weak sword, and must jump off the Floating Keep to gather loot, Talents, mantras, and more to be the last pair/person standing while obtaining the most points.
There is no rewards or punishments in Battle Royale mode. This mode is only active on weekends.
Mechanics[]
- A zone similar to the one seen in Chime of Conflict is present and functions as such.
- Stats are normallized: everyone get 50 main stat, 100 weapon and 50 attunement.
- Loot can be found around the map.
- Every kill rewards a point and the final round gives double points, the group with the most points wins.
- You steal all of your opponents Talents (Including mantras, and Oaths) upon executing them.
- Every once in a a while a purple/pink meteor will fall that will grant a bell to you if you interact with them similar to the totems or healing shrines, it takes a while for the action to take in effect (BE WARNED THAT YOU ARE HIGHLY VULNERABLE WHILE DOING THIS ACTION)
- You always start with the callout Talent.

This island serves as the map for Battle Royale.
Locations[]
King's Colosseum[]
The center point of the map, this is the location the zone encloses. The zone actually closes in on random spaces, although the area is the center of the island and map.
- Little to no loot, High risk, one healing shrine in center
Valiant Valley[]
Contains a small town,
- Abundant loot, Possibly High risk
Yarix Yard[]
On the edge of the King's Colosseum, looks like a marketplace.
Has at least one healing shrine on the outskirts of the marketplace. Has a fair amount of loot and shrines for its small size.
Open Sea (Coastal areas)[]
A small dock rests on the coast, closer to sea level.
- Pros: Abundant loot, schematics, mantra shrines and Talent shrines. Around two armor chests and two weapons.
- Cons: No healing spots, may get swallowed up by storm quickly, in endgame, people may opt for combat in water.
Please note the island is located in the Open Sea.

Trivia[]
- The music for this area's loading screen is Blood And Thunder by Naktigonis
- Every location on the map is territory of the Hundred Legions. This likely indicates that the Battle Royale takes place in the Western Luminant.
- Battle Royale is separate from the main game, you cannot choose a slot.
- You cannot obtain Warrior's Respite from totems.
- If you spawn with the Tiran aspect in the lobby you still gain the feather glider which retains its infinite uses and falls slower than the flimsy glider.
- Battle Royale was accessible to youtubers during the Content Creator Royale on July 1, 2023 and it was released to the public on August 25, 2023 for limited-time testing.
- According to Agamatsu in his stream "Official Deepwoken Youtuber Battle Royale", the developers were supposedly debating whether or not to make this game mode public due to it potentially "being too much fun" and killing off the main game, thus they decided to restrict the game mode to only weekends.
