The Big Brother is a LHT weapon in the Dagger category that can be obtained by maxing out the Inquisitor division under the Authority Ensign origin.
Talent: Swift Strike[]
Equipping the Big Brother grants its unique weapon Talent. This Talent will be lost upon equipping any other weapon, including ability-bound weapons like from the Crazy Slots Resonance.
Swift Strike procs when you land an M1 on your opponent's back, granting the Swift Strike status effect for an indefinite duration. This status effect changes your next critical attack into a teleporting backstab attack that procs all assassination Talents and deals percentage based damage.
This has a 20 second cooldown. Using the Swift Strike-enhanced critical consumes the status effect.

Big Brother uses the default Dagger critical, a series of 3 quick slashes. The first hit has a scaled damage multiplier of 1x, while the second and third have a scaled damage multiplier of 0.8x.
When landing an M1 on your opponent's back, apply the Swift Strike Status effect, drastically changing your critical attack. On critical, the user briefly flashes out of the frame before reappearing behind their opponent's backs and deeply gashing them. Deals percentage based damage and procs all assassination Talents.
The default Dagger critical has a cooldown of 3 seconds, while the Swift Strike Talent has a cooldown of 20 seconds.

- Its name is a direct reference to the fictional character "Big Brother" from the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, signifying the concept of constant, oppressive governmental or authoritative surveillance and control over a population.
- Swift Strike is not a "critical," meaning things such as Warmaster's Medallion or Critical Engine with Blessed Gem cannot reduce its cooldown.
