Blessed Gem is a teal diamond-shaped Deep Gem.
Effect[]
Upon landing a Mantra with a Blessed Gem equipped, the cooldown of your Mantra will instantly be halved. This effect has a 5 second cooldown.
Notes[]
- This Gem is best used on high cooldown Mantras.
- If you have the Brain Food Buff from the Grilled Parasol Brain, Blessed Gem's cooldown reduction will be increased from -50% seconds to -66%.
- Mantras with a 10 second base cooldown will have full efficiency with Blessed Gem, as they'll come off cooldown just as Blessed Gem does.
- With the Brain Food Buff, a 15 second cooldown Mantra will nearly have full efficiency with Blessed Gem, coming off cooldown just 0.1 seconds after Blessed Gem does.
- Dread Whisper in specific is exceptionally good when paired with this Gem due to its gimmick requiring you to land it several times in a row.
- On the other hand, Mantras that can reset their own cooldowns (e.g. Restrain or Slice 'n' Dice) will not be as good when paired with this Gem, it is highly recommended that you use a different Gem for them instead.
- For usage with Critical Engine;
- This Gem, naturally, halves your critical cooldown on hit. This is best used for criticals have have a cooldown of 10 seconds or higher.
- You can pair this Gem with the Warmaster's Medallion to gain a total 55-60% cooldown reduction on your weapon critical, lowering a 25 second critical cooldown to 11.25-10 seconds.
- And when paired with the Brain Food Buff, you'll have up to 69.4-72.8% cooldown reduction, lowering a 25 second critical cooldown to a mere 7.65-6.8 seconds.
- Due to Mantle of Enmity counting as a critical attack for Talent effects, Critical Engine Blessed Gem can proc on it, though it will halve your regular critical cooldown instead of the Mantle's.
- This can be used to halve the cooldown of critical attacks that do not deal damage (e.g. Vortex Echo or The Weaving Web).
- The critical cooldowns of certain weapons are not considered "critical cooldowns." For example, Big Brother's Swift Strike Talent and Krulian Knife's Krulian Charge critical will not have their cooldowns reduced if used with Blessed Gem Critical Engine.
