Devious james is the most complex, multi-faceted, and confusing Attunement in deepwoken, so i am here to shed light on it.
OBTAINMENT STEPS:
First you must get the drowned goblin bell, a bell that is 0.00000000785732% chance to get instead of drowned teleportation (from rolling ONLY, no sinner's ash)
Then you must kill primadon, exo mechs, and the moon lord. If done correctly a large obelisk of umbral obsidian with be erected in the central of Etris.
Interacting with the obelisk 687 tiimes and no fewer and no more will trigger devious james to attack etris. He summons spikes and throws hammers and guns so fast that if you touch them all of your slots get instantly wiped.

I feel like, when i first played the game, it had this mysterious charm to it. A dark sense of not knowing what comes next. But i feel that as of more recent updates, this charm slowly starts to wear off, maybe its just nostalgia?
I don't know, the depths used to have meaning. But i feel like ever since a little after the banks update, it started to go downhill. The addition of the weird flamecharm legendary is when it was obvious to me.

Raven Zeshi is an NPC and he is a ninja who discovered wind. He is used to obtain the oath Windwoken, which basically is an oath like Jestriker but WAY better. Beating him is impossible because he always beats you. He can parry EVERYTHING and he does SOOOOO much damage. He is really hard to beat and, believe it or not, I am the only one who has the oath and has beaten him. Hes really hard and really really good. I am too.

As of right now the resonance system has remain unchanged for months. It seems very outdated, so I want to suggest a few ways to fix it up and make it smoother.
Rarity
Each bell should have a different chance of appearing depending on certain parts of your build. For example, if you have the Tacet murmur you should have a higher chance of getting smokescreen or portals, or if you have a very high weapon stat you could have a higher chance of crazy slots or wind up. will expand upon this idea in a future post.
Obtainment
Most players obtain their bell through bell checks. I feel this is incredibly anti climactic, especially since some people get a bell before even getting power 20 or doing much of anything except grind bos…

Saltchemist Rework/Changes
So, in the current state of Saltchemist, it highly encourages a defensive play style where you stay back, don’t engage in combat(mostly), and spam rebuff potions from afar. I find this a big problem, and think that some things have to be changed. Here is what I would change:

Genuinely if you use Pernach it's viable if you don't have speed demon because of the bleed, but if you can put enough points into Sacred it does more damage than Pernach and also can do bleed with speed demon. Might be a bad take though.
