Description[]
Brutus is an imprisoned Khan in the Fort Merit prison that allows you to unbound your Fortitude. Talking to him will prompt a beatdown that will knock you and leave you at barely any health, along with draining you of all your armor. This bypasses Chitin/Exoskeleton, and does not drain it. Based on his dialogue, and him wearing the old Legion Centurion Outfit with Khan Pauldrons, he is most likely a high-ranking member of The Hundred Legions, and has a history with Titus Fulminus Destellus.
He is noticably larger than most other people, including you.

Brutus is located in Fort Merit inside of a prison cell that can only be accessed by breaking the bars of his cell.

This dialogue will only appear if the player has received dialogue from Titus that allows them to obtain the Blightsurger Oath.

Trivia[]
- Initially, there were no bars on Brutus' cage. While it was initially speculated he was afforded certain freedoms, an interview with Arch_Mage revealed that there were meant to be bars there, hence why there was a secret tunnel into his cell that seemingly provided no function due to the cell being wide open anyway. This lead to builder Zartania constantly being asked "Can you put bars on Brutus' cage?" by a discord user which finally culminated in their addition during the 3/8/2024 update.
- At some point, the secret tunnel was also removed, but the bars were made destructible in exchange.
- You can use a training vest and let him beatdown you to increase Fortitude.
- His hair ID is 5143078089.
