Character Slot UI[]
Character Preview[]
- In the top right corner of the character preview, a symbol corresponding to that character's origin is shown.
- A preview of your current character on the slot is shown as a small animated model individually for each slot.
- The model in the character preview may be doing a pose or just simply idling.
- The character preview shows all cosmetics currently equipped to the character except Oath cosmetics.
- The character preview is of your CURRENT character meaning items with vanity off will not show up on the preview.
- Equipment items or outfits added in recent updates have been known to not show up on the character preview.
- New schematics may show up as the "Stranded" Outfit.
- New equipment pieces may not show up at all.
- If an equipment piece has been remodeled, it may show their old models.
Slot Letters[]
- The slot letter is the first piece of text presented for each slot.
- The maximum of 64 character slots corresponds to the slot letters starting from A to Z then AA to AZ then BA to BL.
- Following the 26th character slot, each following slot will have two letters starting with A then a second letter from A to Z.
- Following the 52nd character slot, each following slot will have two letters starting with B then a second letter from A to L.
- The slot letter(s) cannot be changed and is tied to the slot the moment you purchase it.
- Two slots cannot have identical letter combinations as the slot letter is a key identifier for each slot.
Character Name[]
- Your character name is presented following the slot letter.
- On slot purchase your character name will show as '???'.
- Your character name can be selected during character creation or changed with a barber ingame for 100
. - Character name is tied to the current character on the slot and can be changed at any time.
Level[]
- The slot level corresponds to the ingame power level of your character.
- The slot level will start at 1 on slot purchase and update following a power up or wiping your character.
Aspect[]
- The Aspect of a slot is presented following your slot level.
- The Aspect of a character is randomly selected based on the Aspect rarity on slot purchase though it will show as '???' before entering character creation.
Oath[]
- The slot's current oath is presented following your Aspect
- On slot purchase the oath category will be blank.
Location[]
- The slot's current setting is presented following your Oath or Aspect.
- On slot purchase the category will show as '???'
- Possible locations include: Etrean Luminant, The Etrean Luminant, Eastern Luminant, The Depths (Scyphozia), The Depths (The Eternal Gale), Fragments of Self, and Dungeon for all non-Second Layer dungeons.
- Because of how dungeons work, upon leaving the game in most of them, your location will usually change to just outside of the dungeon's entrance, so the "Dungeon" location may not apply. However, the Tutorial dungeon cannot be left unless it is skipped or completed, showcasing "Dungeon" as location for your slot.
- Etrean Luminant may be displayed as "The Etrean Luminant," rather than "Etrean Luminant." While normally, this applies to all slots in character creation, it can also apply to slots that aren't.
Label Button[]
- The slot label is a label you can add to any character slot from the slot selection menu.
- This label can only be changed from the slot selection menu and does not appear anywhere else in the game.
- The slot label can be changed at any time
- The slot label can be up to 26 characters long though certain labels are blacklisted due to Roblox's filters.
- The icon for labeling a slot is a white pencil.
Pin Button[]
- Pinning a slot moves it to the top of the slot selection menu.
- Pinned slots are organized by letter not the order they were pinned in.
- The icon for the pin button is a push-pin (also known as a thumbtack or drawing pin).
Wipe Button[]
- The slot selection menu offers a quicker way to wipe a slot than dying in the depths.
- Clicking this button will present the prompt where you will have to type in the current name of your character.
- The entered name does not have to match the capitalization of your character name but does have to include spaces.
- Hitting enter after typing the name of the character will send the character to the Fragments of Self where you can wipe the character.
