“ Bloodshed awaits those who ring the bell... ”

Description[]

The Chime of Conflict is a Talent and item obtainable by talking to Yamaketzal at the Songseeker Temple once the player has reached Power 5. It can be used to enter instanced PvP arenas for players to practice, compete for Experience, Loot and Glory, without risking themself in reality.

The Chime of Conflict is unusable while in The Depths.

PvP Arena[]

Players using the bell will be prompted to select a gamemode between 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. Depending on their selection, 2 things can happen:

  • 1v1 - The player is instantly taken to the matchmaking queue. 1v1 arena maps are unique from 2v2 and 3v3 maps.
  • 2v2 - A small area is created around the user to let 1 other user join their team before being transported to the matchmaking queue.
  • 3v3 - A small area is created around the user to let 2 other players join their team before being transported to the matchmaking queue.

Afterwards, players will be waiting in the queue and be put in a match with their opponent. For matchmaking to start in 3v3s or 2v2s, all players need to be ready

Rules[]

  • Power range - When selecting opponents, the game will match players who are at most 5 Power levels apart from one another.
  • One round - There is only a single round. Killing your opponent means winning the match and returning to the matchmaking lobby.
  • Elimination - Dying removes the player from the round.(3v3 and 2v2 only)
  • Death Circle - Similar to Battle Royale games, a "circle of death" forms around the arena shortly after the match starts. The circle will shrink forcing the players to approach each other. Being outside of the circle will rapidly deplete your HP, and immediately kills knocked players. If a match takes too long (approximately 4 minutes) the entire arena will be covered in the "circle of death" meaning you take constant damage.
  • Resonance limitation - Resonances are disabled in 1v1 fights to prevent the possible scenario of being matched with an offensive resonance while having a support resonance.(limit removed in 2v2 and 3v3)

Rewards[]

  • EXP
  • One chest (1v1) or three chests (2v2 , 3v3).
    • Chest rewards may get better as you accumulate a win streak, or when you fight a high-level player. (A player has noticed better rewards such as 3-star weapons after a 6+ win streak; anecdotal evidence and needs testing. Another player has attained a high-level weapon after victory against a high-level opponent. It was also said that enchants appear more commonly than normal means. (?))
  • Bell progression (heavily increased by the players current path) (around 25 wins for 1 stage of progression.)

All accounts start at 800 Ranking, and increases or decreases based on your victories and losses.
