Description[]

Chorus Divide is a Resonance or "bell" that players can obtain, and is common to roll.

Appearance[]

Usage[]

Pressing C will activate the Chorus Divide Resonance. The user begins to charge up the elements within their arms, before unleashing two powerful beams of Attuned energy. The user will slowly spin 270° during the duration of this Resonance, removing the player's control over beam direction. The beams will be based off the user's highest invested Attunement, changing the visuals, status effect, and damage type to match.

Chorus Divide has 8 base damage per tick and 5 Attunement scaling, capping at 12 damage per tick with 100 Attunement.

If Chorus Divide is corrupted, its spins 180° instead of 270°, and becomes unblockable, but at the cost of it's wind-up being significantly longer, and the beams spinning slower.

Resonance Point usage[]

When obtained, Chorus Divide will spend its points on the following stats:

  • Wind-up speed
  • Rotation speed

Attunements[]

Chorus Divide will use the players highest invested attunement upon obtaining the Resonance.

  • The Flamecharm variant will apply burn to players hit by the beams, turning the beams orange.
  • The Frostdraw variant will apply chilled or crystallization to players hit by the beams, turning the beams blue.
  • The Galebreathe variant will apply suffocate or other gale talents to players hit by the beams, turning the beams green.
  • The Thundercall variant will apply shock or apply surge to players hit by the beams, turning the beams yellow.
  • The Shadowcast variant will (potentially) steal ether from, blind, and proc shadow talents to player hit by the beams, turning the beams black.
  • The Ironsing variant will proc metal rods to players hit by the beams, turning the beams grey.
  • The Bloodrend variant will proc blood talents and blood poison to the player hit by the beams, turning the beams red.

If the player has Saintsworn, the second beam will be the attunement of their current Saint Stance instead. Each beam will scale on their respective attunement stats.

If the player is Attunement-less, the beams will be the Thundercall variant ( will apply shock ). Because you have no attunement investment, this will use the base damage of 8 per tick.

Trivia[]

  • Before August 4th, 2025, Chorus Divide was unparryable, this was changed as a bug fix, as well as fixing being able to block the corrupt variant.
  • This bell will stack Chain of Perfection when it lands
  • Titus uses an empowered version of this Resonance.
  • Unfortunately, the beams don't change color if you have a different path for the specific element. This includes Azure Flames.
  • If you drink a Attunement flask when your build is max power, While having no attunement You are able to get the other Attunement variants instead of the thundercall variant.
