The Deep Crucible in the front of the Hidden Village, without an artifact.
Description[]
The Deep Crucible is a landmark in The Hidden Village in which you drop an Artifact into to summon random waves of enemies, similar to the depths trial at level 20 with 5 drowns. These enemies spawn one by one by an orb of light flying from the artifact, and landing on the person who placed it into the crucible. If multiple people are present at the time of the artifact being placed, it spawns another set of enemies and chests per person. The challenge ends after 20 (per person) enemies have been defeated.
The enemies it spawns are: Megalodaunts, Rock Golems, Mudskippers (Normal/Bloated/Mineskipper/Rotskipper Variants), Sworn Angels, and Brainsuckers.
It spawns 3 small chests and one large chest, possibly being better than just turning in the artifact, especially when done with multiple people, because of the extra chests.
Each chest spawns after 5 enemies have been defeated, with the large chest signifying the end of the event.
The Deep Crucible challenge does NOT scale with level and will spawn a random assortment of the enemies listed above. Rewards potentially scale with level, though this theory needs more testing.
Drops[]
So far, it has been seen to drop Erisia loot, Deep gems and Enchants
Trivia[]
- If the player strays too far away from the Deep Crucible, the following text appears "You feel your connection to the Crucible sever..."
- Potentially bugged, if someone doing the challenge dies, that person's mobs will continue spawning on the person after they respawned.
