Environmental Hazards are time/location-based events or dangers. While called "hazards," these can be used to your advantage and even directly help players.

Weather consists of events that trigger due to RNG or timed events.
Name: Found: Effects
Rain Everywhere (Excluding Starswept Valley, Depths), summoned via Rain Spire. Procs certain Talents, All uncovered lit campfires are snuffed out after a few seconds (not including flamecharm's graceful flame).
Hail Everywhere (except Starswept Valley) during Winter, Upper Minityrsa (Always), summoned via Rain Spire. Moderate vison obstruction, procs certain Talents. Additionally, all uncovered lit campfires are snuffed out.
Acid Rain Upper Erisia, summoned via Rain Spire. Slow HP loss, negated with the Survivalist Boon. Etreans take less damage from Acid Rain.
Sandstorm Starswept Valley Obstructs vision. All uncovered lit campfires will be snuffed out after a slight while.
Thunder Storm The Aratel & Etrean Sea (Only while on a boat during a Rainstorm) Damages and ragdolls players. (Beware that its also able to knock you off your boat.)
Day and Night Cycle Everywhere (Except Depths) Only visual difference. Some Talents and Flaws may cause various effects due to what time it is. Deep Owls which spawn in the overworld will only spawn at night.
Parasites Second Layer Parasites stick onto the player and after 5 of them are stuck, the player will instantly die. Parasites can be removed using the lanterns located across layer 2. Survivalist boon increases the amount of time you can survive by 2 minutes.
Heavy Wind Second Layer and Moon's Eyrie Halts movement to a crawl when affecting a player. If the player does not face the wind and move forward it will ragdoll the player and fling them in the direction of the wind. It is unknown if the Survivalist Boon helps against this. Found in Floor 1 of the Second Layer, on bridges in the 2nd part of the floor and in the bridges to go to the top of Moon's Eyrie. Also increases parasite gain.

Damage Zones are parts which deal damage to anyone in contact. Being knocked in a Damage Zone will grip you.

Void Chime of Conflict Rapid loss of HP.
Acid Pools Erisia Slow loss of HP, not negated with Survivalist Boon. Additionally, puts you in Danger.
Lava Miner's Landing, Saramaed Hollow Slow loss of HP, tick damage over time, puts you in Danger. Does not affect NPCs.

Watchers City of the Drowned, Temple Of The Forgotten Flame Teleport on top of buildings and look for players, if you are caught within one of their beams, you will enter Danger and two (depths only) or one (temple of the forgotten flame)Lesser Angels will spawn at your location.
Kyrsgarde Artillery Second Layer (New Kyrsa) Randomly spawning around entrance to New Kyrsa. Walking into it's proximity causes projecticles to spawn in series of 3 every few seconds at the location of the player. Lasts for around 10 seconds.
