Description[]
Etreans are described as snake-like people, who commonly have pale skin, and slit eyes. They are the most common aspect, and can be found most commonly at Etris. Etreans get an Agility and Intelligence bonus upon selection, as well as some resistance to negative and poison effects, at the cost of shorter positive effects. Etreans are commonly depicted as being Xenophobic and intolerant of the ways of other aspects and areas.
Traits[]
A proud culture hailing from the Etrean Luminant. The people of Etris are said to have been in a sorry state since the departure of their king. The current regent serving in the stead of the king is a suspicious man with dubious intentions. The Etreans yearn for their king's return and some words on the wind speak of his return, others hiss falsehoods. The Etrean guards take up Galebreathe as their attunement.

Trivia[]
- It was stated pre-release that Etreans were Xenophobic and would discriminate against players based on their aspect. This was mostly removed (or perhaps never existed at all) some time before the game came out, however the community's perception of Etreans has not changed.
- Etreans with blue and black hair are most likely a reference to Mitsuki and Orochimaru from the Naruto anime series.
- Despite having acid rain resistance, they lack full immunity. The Survivalist Boon is still a viable option.
- During 4/1/2022 April fools update (Mudwoken), Etrean aspect name was changed to 'Moltskipper'.
- It is possible they are based on Chinese and Japanese people due to their surnames, appearance, infrastructure, guards (notably, from Isle of Vigils), and, most notably, their residents (Lance Leshi, Apprentice Kj, Suyuan etc)
