The Evanspear Hand Axe is a Heavy Weapon that requires 70 Heavy Weapons stat to use. It's one of the few Heavy Weapons dealing additional Bleed damage (7.8), balanced out by its subpar swing speed.
It can be obtained from multiple sources, primarily from Layer 2 (Eternal Gale) chests as an uncommon drop. It drops very rarely from Crimson Terrapods and Legion Captains as well.
Meeting the requirements, this weapon deals 37.5 + 11.3 BLD, for a total of 48.8 damage. With 6 Proficiency, 100 HVY, and an additional +6% damage from stars, this weapon deals 52.7 + 15.8 BLD, for a total of 68.5 damage.

- The name 'Evanspear' is the same as a Lore guild during testing, 'The 'Evanspear Legion.'
- This could explain why it can be dropped from Legion Captain NPCS.
- Has deceptively high range compared to its seemingly short appearance.
- Keep in mind that while using this weapon, you will not be able to experience the effects of some bleed Talents such as Speed Demon, as they do not stack.
- While this weapon used to be referred to as the "best PvE weapon," Its absurd damage was confirmed to be a bug in the June 21st, 2024 changelogs, which made it deal approximately +270% of its intended damage due to bleed scaling twice off PvE scaling. It is still a good option, but not overwhelmingly so.
