Faction Ambushes are a Random Encounter that involves a squad of several faction-affiliated Enemies being sent to kill a player that has sufficiently negative Reputation with their respective faction. The encounter can occur nearly anywhere in Lumen, and will only happen to players who have Hunted reputation or lower with at least one faction. Unlike other random encounters, killing the enemies sent after the player will incur a reputation penalty and therefore lead to an even lower reputation with the respective faction. In exchange, defeating all the enemies will reward a decent-sized Chest filled with items pertaining to that faction.
The enemies sent differ depending on the extent of the player's negative reputation, with lower ranks resulting in more lethal ambushes. Below is a list of possible ambushes.
