Description
The Fondant Splitter is a ??? rarity enchantable Sword; an oversized cake in the shape of the Dormant Splinter.
The Fondant Splitter is obtained through the Cold Forge by crafting in your Crafting Menu with:
- A Dormant Splinter
- A Cake
- A Sword, Messer, Katana, or a Scimitar, however crafting Fondant Splitter with a Scimitar will take three Cakes instead of one.
Meeting the requirement of MED and LVL, the damage is 20.9
At max MED and 6 Proficiency , the damage is 27.5
Critical
The User will take a bite out of the Fondant Splinter, healing 12[1] health.
The critical has a cooldown of twenty seconds.
Trivia
- First documented finding was on the 18th of December 2024, 12 days after the Dormant Splinter was added, and 5 days after the Cold Forge was added.
- Similarly to the Ysley`s Pyre Keeper, when resting at a campfire the weapon will display a different name being: "Spongey and rich, with a hint of... Umbrite."
- The Fondant Splitter is functionally soulbound, similar to the Diver's Light Plate.
- The weapon is a reference to a popular trend among the community, where people used to bake real Dormant Splinter cakes in order to get a hint from Nuttoons.[2]
- The weapon originally required 5 MED and LVL 3 on release, but was changed to its current state on December 24th, 2024.
- This weapon can no longer be enchanted.
- The weapon's crit was exclusive to the Calabash weapon spec before release.
