Description[]
A Formless Shard can be obtained via using a Smith's Alloy on a compatible weapon and selecting the Motif option, granting you the weapon's Motif and turning the weapon into a Formless Shard.

Critical Attack[]
The user swings back their arm and performs a Mudskipper-like swing, albeit with a significantly longer windup. This attack deals 1 damage and 2 posture damage. And with a relatively long critical cooldown of 10 seconds, this critical is the worst damage dealing attack in the game.
This critical has the M1 tag, allowing it to proc M1-exclusive Talents and Enchantment effects.
Trivia[]
- Formless Shard copies the enchant and star values of what weapon it was previously.
- You can get some use out of this by trading it in to Laplace.
- The only purpose this weapon serves is for the player to still have an equipped weapon after destroying their previous weapon to obtain a Motif.
- Formless Shard is the second weakest weapon in Deepwoken, only being beat out by the Handcuffs. Dormant Splinter is a "strong" contender for this title as well.
