Description[]
Gale Stones can be acquired by slaying NPCs that use Galebreathe. They can be used to complete the Lost Brother quest in the Isle of Vigils and thus unlock fighting Maestro Evengarde Rest, or Friid's quest in order to obtain Galebreathe. They are also required for the Windrunner Robes, Tempestmaker's Threads, Jade Vigil's Weave, and the Justicar outfits.
Obtainment Tips[]
- Killing Legion Soldiers and Etrean Soldier can drop Gale Stones, and you will not lose reputation among killing them in events at Erisia.
- The Etrean Guardsmen and Etrean Royal Guard at Etris drop Gale Stones at an extremely slim chance, and will also lower your reputation with Etris.
- Killing Mudskippers also has a chance to rarely drop Gale Stones.
- Killing Songseeker Galebreather can also drop Gale Stones.
- Killing Legion Soldier at the Legion Camp is probably the fastest way to grind Gale Stones, due to having 2 Legion Soldier always spawned upon joining.
Trivia[]
- As Gale Stones have a somewhat similar appearance to a sea shell, the fact that "a faint whisper of wind" can be heard inside them could be a reference to the way some sea shells allow one to hear the ocean.
- Due to low drop-rates along with either requiring you to kill Guards or have to hope for events instead of having a consistent mob spawn unlike the other elemental ingredients, they are notably hard to get.
