Description[]
The Golden Swordfish is a Rapier that can be fished out of the sea with a 4.5%~ chance. It is a golden swordfish, with the bill being used as a blade to pierce foes.
This weapon cannot be dropped by any means, similar to a Soulbound item or the Diver's Light Plate.
Getting the Golden Swordfish implies successfully achieving two rare events in fishing:
- The fish caught must be a Swordfish (Uncommon)
- It must be a golden fish (Very rare)
The combination of these 2 factors makes the Golden Swordfish extraordinarily rare. Using bait, fishing Talents and fishing spots are recommended to improve your odds.
Critical[]
The user winds up before charging forward with the weapon, dealing damage multiple times. The critical has a cooldown of 5 seconds.

Trivia[]
- The stats are a copy of the Crucible Rapier, but with exactly 0.1 more range.
- Most likely a reference to how many players suggested for the swordfish to be an equippable weapon.
- The critical to be a reference to the belief that swordfish hunt by "skewering."[1] However, this is a myth. Swordfish actually hunt by slashing and dismembering smaller fish with their bill. Ironically, it would be more accurate for this weapon to be a medium sword.
- The so-called "sword" bill of a typical swordfish is not particularly strong, but there is a historical precedent for it being used as a weapon.
- The critical itself is the same critical used by the Trident Spear.
- Meeting the requirement of LHT, the damage is (21.8)
- At max LHT, the damage is (24)
- Despite acting like a Soulbound weapon in the sense that it cannot be dropped in any way, it can still be put into an Item Bank without costing knowledge, provided it is not Enchanted.
