- “ DON'T STAND IN THE WAY OF TRUE PROGRESS. ”
Description[]
They have a brown wood-like appearance, with foliage around their legs, resembling wires. They also sport a Hive logo made of wood on their torso. They are powered by the Lifeweaving technology of the Hive, which explains its unique abilities to create life with every attack. Shorter and smaller than a Megalodaunt, however it's size is not to be underestimated. They wield incredible power and can easily take out an inexperienced player.
They cannot climb, but do walk very fast, so if you're unlucky enough to encounter one and are underleved / unprepared, run as fast as you can. It can be tipped over, so if you have Flame Balista, Grand Javelin or Wind Gun, you can use them to stun it to aid your escape.
Spawn Locations[]
Hive Constructs can spawn in Starswept Valley and Bluster Rift.
Moves[]
Tips[]
- These things do unrelenting damage even at Power 20. Do not take them lightly. Pay attention to undodgeable cues and stay wary for the blue particles around the fist signifying a Meteor Punch usage.
- Be careful if fighting alongside Hive Constructs; if you get downed, there's a solid chance you will get instantly executed in the crossfire.
- If you are being chased by a Thresher, King Thresher, Sand Knight, etc. and there's a Hive Construct nearby, try going to the Construct as it will aggro onto the mob trying to kill you.
- There are many ledges in Minityrsa that allow you to easily cheese the Rogue Construct without taking damage.
- Meteor Punch and Stomp can be parried, but if you miss, you will take heavy damage. Engage them at your own risk.
