The Grand Fisher Plate, along with the Grand Fisher Helm, are guaranteed drops from an enemy in the Depths called "The Fisherman." Equipping it grants 10 health, 1 posture, and 3 legendary pips in addition to a unique Talent.

This armor provides the innate Talent Diver's Resilience: "You can parry unparryable attacks from giant monsters, but due to the heft of your plate you have slightly reduced speed." (Slows down the user by 3% from their normal speed. DO NOT EDIT, ITS CONFIRMED INFO) This functions similarly to Ignition Deepdelver's Force Your Way, the difference being in the tradeoff.

The Grand Fisher set was made as the winner for the 2nd Official Equipment Concept Art Contest, won by TU5SK, making it one of the first community made armor sets in the game.
- Some of the inspiration for this armor comes from the character Sajin Komamura from the anime Bleach. This is directly referenced in the concept art. It may also be based on the Arcwarder Oath.
Due to the high innate stats of this armor, the Grand Fisher Plate is one of the best in the game, able to have up to 47 HP if Drowned and 37 without Enchantments.
- It has the same stats as a Diver's Light Plate, but without a Hell Mode requirement and having a lower Fortitude requirement, and is comparatively much easier to obtain.
The discovery of the obtainment method for this set is credited to StarPhil29 by Agamatsu.
Despite not being a soulbounded equip it is unable to be dropped.
