Description
"With the development of the Railblade, the Union had gained an edge over the Divers in their disputes over delving sites. In defiance of this, the mechanists of the Citadel changed their approach to equipment production and worked closely with Authority Weaponsmiths to design a cold-hearted blade capable of piercing through monster hide and freezing their innards solid. Description

The Hailbreaker is a Greatsword that scales with Frostdraw; it's a dark carbon fiber patterned blade with sharp edges and a slightly lighter-colored trim along the blade's length. The hilt has a futuristic appearance, incorporating glowing cyan accents, which enhance its high-tech aesthetic. Currently, it's obtained by a depths job called Coldheart Fortinabras.

This weapon can change forms with the use of its critical similarly to Light's Final Toll having 3 total stages/forms each changing its criticals effects.

Criticals

Stage I: Performs two quick slashes placing ice under the users feet and freezing the opponent in place, this moves the weapon into stage II, removing the carbon substance coating the blade.

Stage II: Performs two heavy slashes placing ice under the users feet and freezing the opponent in place, this moves the weapon to stage III, coating it in ice.

Stage III: Dashes forward performing a large upward slash placing ice under the users feet and freezing the opponent in place, this moves the weapon back into stage I, breaking the ice and coating the weapon in a carbon substance.

All criticals have a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Pressing M2 during the windup of the critical will perform a feint that resets stages and has a cooldown of 2 seconds. This does not change depending on the stage.

Trivia

• Its model as of 11/16/2024 does not change if you have Glass Path: Crystallization, the particles used with its critical however do change color.
• In lore, mass-produced to rival the Union's Railblade.
