New Content[]
The Floating Keep[]
The Floating Keep is a floating island near the Isle of Vigils and Greathive Aratel that can be accessed by talking to the Hallowtide Caller (a pumpkin) near the mantra shop at the Isle of Vigils or by the corner of the waterfall area at Greathive Aratel. The Floating Keep is also currently the "Battle Bus" of the battle royale mode.
Joy[]
- Joy can be obtained by putting on a Hallowtide Mask (obtained from turning in 1 Shell Stock, 1 Paperette, and 1 Fine Ink), and scaring any Passive/Neutral NPC that has a dialogue option by pressing E. You also gain 40 joy for completing the Trial of the Gourdskipper, Getting 3 each wave and 16 at the final wave.
- Common NPCs (ex. Blacksmiths, Bankers, Antiquarians) that can be found in almost any town can only be scared once for each. (For example, scaring the blacksmith at Etris means you cannot scare any other blacksmiths until the scaring cooldown is over for that NPC.
- Experienced characters, such as The Ferryman, The Lord Regent, Polis, Evengarde Rest, and many others have unique interactions when you attempt to scare them.
New Helmets[]
- The Familiar Priest Helmet, Familiar Heretic Helmet, and Familiar Knight Helmet can be obtained by turning in 30, 35, and 50 "Joy" respectively. Three of the helmets are references to Rogue Lineage, Monad Studios' previous main game.
- The Familiar Priest Helmet is an exact replica of the Church Knight Helmet from Rogue Lineage.
- The Familiar Heretic Helmet is an exact replica of the Dark Sigil Knight (Wraith Knight) Helmet from Rogue Lineage.
- The Familiar Knight Helmet is an exact replica of the Sigil Helmet from Rogue Lineage.
- The Shroom helmets are a remodeled version of the Scroom from Rogue Lineage.
- The Pumpkin Head is a a replica of the heads on the Gourdskippers.
Aspect Variants[]
- The Hallowtide update added a special new variant for each aspect in the game. To unlock the Hallowtide aspect variants, you will have to turn in 70 "Joy" to Lysander Spellhardt who can be found in the hallway directly in front of the entrance. Once you purchase this option, all of your slots will be able to change their aspect variant to the Hallowtide variant upon speaking to him, though you will need to get a Hallowtide Mask to speak to him. You can also switch variants by going to a Barber and asking them to change your variant, or by wiping and choosing your Hallowtide Variant in the character customization screen.

Trivia[]
- The Floating Keep is the only place in the game where you can actually see NPC Lightborns. (Aside from Kaide in New Kyrsa.)
- The Teleportation effect used when being transported to The Floating Keep is similar to the one used when using a Greathive Fountain, though it is purple instead of pale yellow.
- A gif of the floating keep spawning in can be seen below
- Oddly, the Third Hallowtide (2024) occured outside of the weekly update schedule, instead returning on a Thursday on Halloween Day (31st of October)
