Description[]
The Hobo is a wealthy and proficient Flamecharmer that you may find when roaming around Erisia.
The Hobo is a neutral NPC that can be found in the wild. It guards three chests that can be obtained safely if you pass a Charisma check, or alternatively you can kill them, granting you another chest. You may loot the chests without completing the Charisma check, but it will anger them and initiate a fight.
Their movements are very jagged and extremely fast, almost as if they're flying. In order to parry their hits you need to predict them, and during their frenzy it's impossible to flourish them, as they will be attacking nonstop with Flamecharm mantras. You must fight back when they stop moving, or by using AoE skills while they're moving. Killing the Hobo results in another chest spawning.
A Hobo only wears a Stranded outfit.

Boons[]
- Third Eye - A Hobo cannot be assassinated under any circumstance.
- High Supply - A Hobo has plenty of moves that apply hyperarmor at no cost of Ether, making them a difficult enemy to face.

Tips[]
- The Hobo becomes hostile when you open any of their chests, however they will not aggro until you walk in front of them.
- Hobos have a very similar AI to Songseeker Flamecharmers, with a faster attack rate. Flourishing them into walls and spamming M1's is a good way to make it an easier fight.

Trivia[]
- Hobos can spawn in such a way that one of their chests is inside a wall.
- The Hobo seems to be someone who escaped from The Depths or from The Duke, and has lost their mind since.
- This can be supported by the fact that when gripping them, they laugh like a madman.
- It could be suggested that the Hobo is "wealthy" due to him stealing from The Duke.
- All factions appear to have it out for them, as they all try to attack them.
