Description[]
Hollow Angels, previously known as Lesser Angels, are white and dull-yellow humanoid creatures with wings. They wield black recolors of the Iron Spear and use Crazy Slots' Divine Spear ability. They are summoned by entities called Watchers. Many can be found in Celtor, the sunken city in the First Layer of The Depths. Each will summon two Hollow Angels. A Watcher can also be found in the Temple of the Forgotten Flame in Erisia, and will only spawn a single Hollow Angel. The Hollow Angel can also be summoned as a Trial when attempting to escape the Depths.

Trivia[]
- Similar to Mudskippers, the Hollow Angels' AI will dictate them to keep out of your effective range. They will constantly back up but will still keep you within the range of their spears.
- All Angels have incredibly high posture resistance, meaning you will have to consistently trade parries with them to get an attack on them without Mantras or Talents that will bypass this.
- Hollow Angels will not despawn for a prolonged period of time, meaning that players should not assume they are safe by escaping via climbing.
- Hollow Angels previously used to attack any other monsters in the Depths, but this was silently removed in a shadow update.
- They resemble the Malebranche demons from the Castlevania animated series episode, The Harvest.
- They are internally referred to as ".angel_lesser(ID)". The ID counts how many have spawned.
- They appear to wear a Yellow-dyed Celtorian Tideknight outfit.
- Attempting to avoid attacks by wearing a Hollow Angel Mask will not work.
