Description[]

The Imperator's Edge is a legendary medium spear weapon that is only obtainable from Primadon or from depths chests/fishing. It is a gargantuan spear with a glowing tip infused with the very essence of light itself.

A weapon of the Hundred Legions, wielded in the frontlines to lead troops forward to "inevitable victory" with its "blinding brilliance".

It is decorated with symbols of the Legions.

The weapon has a unique mechanic: if you land three hits on an enemy with only the tip of the spear, you enter an "Enlightened" state, signified by halos around your head. This state only changes the critical, and isn't believed to have any other effects.

Critical[]

Perform three thrusts forward with the spear, applying Dazed whilst sending them forwards. If you are in the "Enlightened" state, this critical is then followed up by another identical critical at the cost of the effect, totaling up to six hits. It has a cooldown of ~5 seconds.

If running and using a critical attack thrust forward once, firing a light spear projectile dealing high posture damage.

Standing crit does .6x * 2 + .45x + .135x bleed = 1.785x m1 damage, does 26.97 posture damage. 3.57x m1 dmg if land all swings during enlightened, does 54 posture damage

Running crit does 1x + (.6x + .18x bleed (projectile)) = 1.78x m1 damage. Both hits do 17 posture damage.

Trivia[]

  • The Imperator's Edge has the highest stat requirement in the game, with 240 total points.
  • Used to have the highest ranged weapon (If you dont include gun's) Though on March 16th 2025, the Guiding Star took the throne by one point.
  • This weapon might be inspired by God of War: Ragnarök's free DLC, Valhalla. The appearance of the spear resembles Tyr's spear and somewhat the level 3 of the Draupnir Spear. However, the standing critical of the Imperator's Edge seems to be based on a Light Runic Attack belonging to Draupnir; "Thrust of a Thousand Soldiers," although with much less stabs. On the other hand, the running critical does not seem to be based on any attack, Runic, or even any attack performed by Tyr. (The closest thing it can be compared to is an attack where Tyr throws his spear, which then explodes, but I only say that because its his only projectile with his spear)
