Description[]
The Katana is a Medium Weapon that can be obtained from chests found in Minityrsa, Songseeker Wilds, The Depths and Primadon. Additionally, it drops from Etrean Royal Guard at an uncommon rate and can be bought from Chili for around 90 notes. It has a base damage of 18 and requires 25 MED to equip. Its damage is increased by 25% (5% when Alloyed) when wearing the Vigil Initiate, Cloak of Winds, or Royal Etrean Guard outfits, due to their innate Talent: Paired Soul. It is able to be upgraded with the use of a Pluripotent Alloy, turning it into an endgame weapon by increasing its stats and adding a slight purple hue to the blade.
When paired with the Poser's Ring, the damage of its M1s and critical will be suspended until it is sheathed, at which point all of that damage is inflicted at once.
Critical[]
The user sheaths their katana before lunging forward and slashing horizontally. This critical is shared with the Shattered Katana when one handed.

- Paired Soul only gives a +5% damage buff with the Alloyed Katana to bring it closer to the Shattered Katana.
- Use the Alloyed Katana over the Shattered Katana if you want to keep the normal katana critical when 2 handing.
