Description[]
The Kindred Edict is a Medium-Body Sword; a pallid, glimmering blade forged from the remnants of Celestial crash sites, used as a staple in the Starkindred Faith.
Talent: Blitz[]
Equipping the Kindred Edict grants its unique weapon Talent. This Talent will be lost upon equipping any other weapon, including ability-bound weapons like from the Crazy Slots Resonance.
Blitz reduces the Windup of your Prominence Draw by 0.1s (from 0.55s to 0.45s).
Critical[]
The Kindred Edict has two criticals.
For the standing critical, the user unleashes a horizontal slash that hits twice and dazes the opponent. Upon landing, the user is given a speed boost. The critical cooldown will be cleared upon hit, and can be used multiple times. The speed boost can stack multiplicatively.
The standing critical does 0.55x * 2 scaled damage.
For the aerial critical, the user leaps above and performs a downslash that hits twice and dazes the opponent. Upon landing, the user is given a speed boost and will be sent back upwards. The critical cooldown will be cleared upon hit, and can be used multiple times. The speed boost can stack multiplicatively.
The aerial critical does 0.45x * 2 scaled damage, alongside having innate Bleed damage.
Both criticals apply 5 Wither on hit if your Starkindred wings are out. Both criticals have a cooldown of 5 seconds if whiffed.
These criticals have the M1 tag, allowing them to proc M1-exclusive Talents and Enchantment effects.

Trivia[]
- There was bug on this weapon's release where the stats and description of this weapon change depending on the Luminant the player was in, gaining +1 base damage, +5% PEN, 25 higher Medium requirement, and having its core attribute requirement be changed from Body to Agility in the Etrean Luminant. Additionally, it had a Unique item rarity in the Etrean Luminant, scrapping any enchantments you may have had on the weapon if you swapped Luminants with it.
- This was due to the Etrean Luminant servers not being updated, so they still had the old version of the Kindred Edict.
- Judging by the aerial critical and the weapon's model, Kindred Edict could be a Hollow Knight reference. The aerial critical resembles the pogo from Hollow Knight's base attack, and the weapon's model is similar to that of Hollow Knight's Nail.
