Description[]
Monster Mantras are Mantras that players are capable of obtaining which mimic a specific move from a monster. Obtaining the monster drops require to acquire the Mantras. It can be difficult to obtain, although most, if not all of the Mantras are considered worth the requirements. Having the ability to throw bones like a Bonekeeper, shoot coral as if you were a Megalodaunt, pull enemies as though you were an Enforcer, monster mantras allow the player to have more versatility within combat. These mantras do not belong to any attunement, having their own category of abilities. This means the Mantras are not upgradable, retaining the damage from obtainment.
Obtainment[]
Talk to Carrion, Father of Evolution at the end of the maze in Layer 2: Floor 2, after which he appears and stays at Castle Light, allowing you to speak with him and obtain the mantras. Monster mantras are obtained by talking to Carrion and giving him rare drops from certain monsters. The drops follow: Enforcer Eye, Thresher Talon, Megalodaunt Coral, Dread Serpent's Tooth, Giant Femur, Broken Gatling Gun, Terrapod Shell and the Nautilodaunt Beak.

Trivia[]
- For unknown reasons, Abyssal Ridge was originally a Mobility Mantra.
- Monster Mantras are somewhat similar conceptually to Blue Mages in the Final Fantasy Series; Blue Mages are able to acquire enemy abilities (Monster Spells) through various means in encounters, somewhat echoed in Monster Mantras and their obtainment methods.
