Description[]
The Pleeksty's Inferno is a legendary Club; a knapped obsidian macuahuitl created using magma, with the deceptively sharp, obsidian blades on the edges as well as the floral patterns on the flat sides glowing with it.
It is not able to be banked and is not droppable, being permanently bound to the slot you fought Aska with. It can only be passed down using the Hippocampal Pool.
The weapon will proc Club Talents on hit and Flamecharm Talents on critical hits. The critical also instantly gives you maximum Emperor Flame Stacks if it lands (Even if you do not have the Talent).
Pleeksty's Inferno can also proc burn on M1s (or eruptions, with Lava Serpent) if you're wearing the Simmerbloom Diadem.
The Pleeksty's Inferno can be obtained from the Second Layer of The Depths:
- Have 75 Flamecharm and enter the Second Layer without a Light Hook.
- Fulfill one of the following criteria. Keep in mind you only need one of these three criterias to get confirmation to fight Aska. For example, having Pleetsky's Will allows fighting Aska despite not having Flame Worshipper Armor equipped or Pleeksty's Faith.
- Wearing the Flame Worshipper Armor.
- Having the Pleeksty's Will Talent.
- Having the Pleeksty's Faith Talent.
- Head to Firfire and approach the head of the village. To the right of him will be an opening in the wall.
- When you go through the opening, you'll see a path going to the left. Do not follow the path. Instead, go forward and jump down to the ledge beneath.
- When you jump down, walk forward following the path. (Be careful, don't fall down, there's a hole in the middle of the path) Eventually, you'll reach three Orange Resonance Doors that require a Resonance, and 75 Flamecharm. You can still clip through these doors, though.
- Fight Aska and defeat him. If you do not meet the requirements, you will be killed immediately through burning and wipe.
- Alternatively, if you meet all requirements and have the Destined Echo Modifier, Aska will still attempt to burn you to death, but you will survive and obtain the weapon without needing to fight him.
Critical[]
Pleeksty's Inferno has two different criticals.
For the standing critical, the user plunges their club into the ground, creating a small eruption and flourishing the weapon afterwards, with the last hit inflicting ragdoll.
For the running critical, the user imbues the club with flame, slashing in front of them and launching a projectile, ragdolling enemies. The projectile is directional and will fly in the direction of your characters momentum.
Both criticals share a cooldown of 10 seconds.
As of 2/22/2025, criticals now share the color of the path the player is using.

Trivia[]
- Elaborated in the description, a macuahuitl is from the Aztec culture.
- In real life, macuahuitls are embedded with sharp obsidian blades, providing a sharper edge than normal swords. The tooltip for the weapon also mentions this, though the Pleeksty's Inferno does not deal slash or bleed damage.
- You do not need to defeat Chaser to keep Pleeksty's Inferno, as it can be equipped immediately; You may use the Ignition Deepdriller if you wish. In the case that you wipe purposefully or accidentally before exiting Layer 2, the weapon cannot be dropped on death.
- If Aska falls off the map, you may defeat Chaser and be awarded with the weapon upon Chaser's death instead of Aska's.
- Despite the resonance doors leading to the fight with Aska, obtaining your resonance is not obliged as a prerequisite to acquire the weapon as it is possible to clip through the resonance doors, however, this is the more dangerous method, as you risk falling into the void while clipping through the last door on your way back from the cave.
- A Tiran Pendant is wrapped around the weapon.
- The embers that form off the weapon are shaped like musical notes.
- This weapon cannot be banked, or dropped.
