- “ A liquid metal that can be applied to certain weapons to draw out inner strength. The discovery of the Pluripotent Alloys is said to have sparked the development of Ironsing during the Canticlysm. ”
Description[]
The Pluripotent Alloy is an item in Deepwoken that you can apply to midgame weapons. It upgrades the stats of an applicable weapon into that of an endgame-level weapon, on par with the likes of the Shattered Katana, Krulian Knife and Pale Morning. It has a pity system where every four boss kills you are guaranteed to obtain one, in addition to the RNG roll. When receiving an alloy from a RNG roll your pity counter is reset.
It can also be used to obtain Ironsing.
How to Obtain[]
Methods[]
- Killing a boss for the first time (per character), if you contribute enough damage.
- As a potential drop from chests in Saramaed Hollow.
Bosses that drop Pluripotent Alloy[]
How to Use[]
To use a Pluripotent Alloy, you must be at least power 10 and equip an applicable weapon while being at the Weapon Attribute requirement, then use the alloy. The weapon will then transform into its "Alloyed" variant, signified by a white particle whirling around the weapon during the animation. This increases the weapon's requirement to 75. The alloy cannot be used on inapplicable weapons, and nothing will happen if you try to.
If you have the Ignition Delver origin, you are able to turn 3 of these into 1 Smith's Alloy or turn 9 of them into 1 Armorers Needle the Hollow Forge at Miner's Landing.
