- “ He could give life to stone with that thing on his hip, though he never explained how. ”
Also referred to as Erisia Golem, Duke's Golems, or simply, Golems.
Description[]
Rock Golems are large, bulky stone constructs with a distinct glowing white core, and three peculiar stone discs on their "stomach" and "kneecaps." Their bodies look as though they're fragmented, but they remain intact regardless. They are given life by the Duke's unique Stonelife resonance. After the Duke found the Forge of Sin, the once protectors of the island turned on its inhabitants, now turned into mindless husks who do nothing but attack anything they see.
Rock Golems are only found in Upper Erisia, commonly in Burning Stone Gardens, and they can also be found through the following events:
- Rock Golem fighting a Megalodaunt (Upper Erisia)
- Rock Golem found at the final wave of the Bandit Invasion (Erisor's Church)
In combat Rock Golems are very hardy, having moderately high health and high slash resistance. Despite this, their attacks are relatively predictable and easy to punish, its flashiest attacks are the easiest to exploit, and the remaining ones are very easy to avoid.

Trivia[]
- The regular version of these Golems are fairly easy to kill with its moves being very slow and predictable. (Stat Check level: Power 8)
- Occasionally a Megalodaunt (or Terrapod) will spawn near a Golem, causing a fight to break out. It's a good idea to use ranged mantras to sneak in a bit of EXP and when one loses, go in for the kill on the other as it will be weakened from the fight.
- Do not try to block it's Spinning attack, as it will shred your posture quickly. However, parrying said move gives a lot of EXP, making it a sort of risk/reward. The best way to dodge this is to run since he will be slowed when doing this and you can run from him. Aditionally, parrying the spinning attack with a weapon enchanted with Providence Thorns makes it way easier to kill.
- The Spinning attack can destroy the gate in Duke Erisia's Manor and terrain around it. Do not try hiding in specific spots like luring it to a tree.
- When parrying its spinning attack, sometimes it will force you to start blocking again, to combat this, just start parrying again when you start blocking
- These are known to attack you regardless if you have the "Animal King" Talent or not, likely due to their nature as inorganic constructs, rather than animals.
- The uppercut is actually not an instant blockbreak; however, you need a lot of posture to block it.
- Marcus seems to be a related golem, although he doesn't attack you on sight, drinks coffee and is infinitely more cool than the other Rock Golems as a result.
- You are able to interact with some of these golems, though nothing happens upon pressing the E key.
- It is possible to block the Laser using the pillars created by the Relic Axe's critical attack
- Rock Golems will always win their fights against Megladounts, due to having more health and do more damage and attacks.
