Starswept Valley is a location in Deepwoken. It is a sub-location of Aratel Island found in the Aratel Sea.
Overview[]
Starswept Valley is the middle and northern part of Aratel Island. Most of the area is a dead desert and is filled with conflicts between various factions and monsters. There is a large green-lined doors in the center that leads to The Lordsgrove, which open after you wash your face at the Lightkeeper Temple. This is also the largest land mass in the Eastern Luminant.

Trivia/Notes[]
- The music for this area is In Starstruck Sands by Naktigonis.
- The combat music for this area is Pyres of Glass by Naktigonis.
- You can climb over the mountains to The Lordsgrove, but you won't be able to use the teleporter if you haven't washed your face in the Lightkeeper Temple.
- The best place to grind from around level 12 onwards. (You can go to Starswept at around level 9 or 10 if you're familiar with the game's mechanics.)
- It is recommended to be familiar with the game's fighting mechanics and have decent gear in order to travel here, as some NPCs and Monsters can easily take on an unexperienced player or even a group of such.
- Based on the skeletons and corals that can be seen everywhere, as well as the condition of the Lordsgrove, it can be speculated that this was once an undersea area or a forest full of life, but the nutrients were sucked away by the planting of Greathive.
- Fighting the Hive Constructs is a bad idea. If you get close when they sprout trees, it can cover your vision, so you won't be able to tell when to dodge its 200 damage move.
- Be wary of Stone Knights or King Threshers as they can spawn randomly without warning.
- Occasionally, you may find a sack that looks similar to a player's lootbag. You can carry this sack to Mercille at the Summer Company outpost in Meteor Isle for Aratel Island loot. This is pointless though, as who would go all the way to Summer Isle from Starswept just for a chest?
- If, during the Authority Captain vs Hive Mech event, the battle is interrupted by an outside aggressor and said aggressor is then slain, both the Hive mech and Authority Captain will sometimes stop fighting each other, a bug which has been in the game for a long period of time.
- Many events can spawn at a time, making it quite chaotic at times.
