Description
A dagger forged by a Etrean smith, the Tanto is said to bear the same durability as the Katana, but in a smaller profile.

Description

The Tanto is a high tier dagger type weapon with a requirement of 50 LHT. It is noticeably slower than most of the other daggers, but to make up for its lack of speed, it outranges most other daggers in the game. This weapon can also be upgraded with a Pluripotent Alloy, turning it into an endgame variant.

Critical

A short windup before jumping in the air and slashing forwards in a cartwheel-like motion.

This attack has a scaled damage multiplier of 1.25x and has innate Bleed.

Damage

For the non-alloyed version:

• Meeting the LHT requirement for this weapon will make it deal 20.2 damage.
  • At max LHT, it will deal 24.8 damage.

For the alloyed version:

• Meeting the LHT requirement for this weapon will make it deal 23.7 damage.
  • At max LHT, it will deal 25.6 damage.

Trivia

• This is currently the only dagger in the game that does not have any endlag.
• This weapon is often treated as a pseudo-medium weapon due to it's slower swing speed and higher damage in comparison to other daggers
• If you have 100 attribute points invested into LHT, and having 6 proficiency you will achieve a total damage of 28.4 alloyed (29.3)
