“ Travel across huge distances. ”

Description[]

Teleportation, also referred to as Fast Travel, Gate, Flying Raijin and usually Tp Bell is a Resonance or "Bell" that players can obtain and is exceedingly rare to roll.

Appearance[]

On usage, a gold ring expands on the ground around the user. When charged, particles will rise from the ring indicating it's charged state.

Shortly after charging, all players inside Teleportation's radius will be teleported to the set waypoint, appearing similar to the teleportation used by Greathive Aratel's fountains.

Usage[]

Pressing C will activate the Teleportation Resonance.

If you have no active waypoints or you activate it without hovering your cursor over a waypoint, activation will place a waypoint marker at your location. Waypoint markers can be seen from any distance and through any obstruction, only to the user, and will persist through changing servers. Should you have the Player Markers Resonance stat invested into, you can mouse over a player you are close to and a marker will be placed on them instead, with these player markers having a limited range to be teleported to.

Markers cannot be given a custom name, instead having a name matching the location they were placed in, such as "Etris" or "Minityrsa". You can have up to 5 or as low as 1 waypoint marker per Luminant depending on your Resonance's point allocation, and placing a marker that breaks this limit will destroy the oldest active marker in that Luminant in place of the new one.

If you hover your mouse over one of your active waypoints, activation will instead initiate a teleport. Initiating a teleport will create a ring around the user and begin charging. Charging time is based on the distance from you to the waypoint and how much the Charge Speed Resonance stat was invested into by your Resonance points. Once fully charged, everyone inside the radius of the ring is teleported to the waypoint. The waypoint is destroyed when a teleport is initiated on it, but can easily be replaced once travelled to.

You can place teleport points in the Depths, however, teleporting to it will cause it to disappear.

This Resonance cannot be used in any Dungeon.

Drowned Teleportation[]

If Teleportation is Drowned, you'll receive preset waypoints depending on the Luminant you're in, with the names of these waypoints having square brackets around them. The waypoint markers for these waypoints and the teleport VFX for travelling to these waypoints matches the color of your bell.

Normal Waypoints will be colored yellow as usual. Preset waypoints will not cut into your own custom waypoint capacity, allowing you to have # number of custom waypoints coexisting with the preset waypoints of your Luminant. If you're next to a preset, holding C will allow you to go to a point you made.

In the Etrean Luminant, you are given permanent preset waypoints at the following locations:

In the Eastern Luminant, you are given permanent preset waypoints at the following locations:

Resonance Points[]

When obtained, Teleportation will invest it's Resonance points on the following stats:

  • Player Markers: If this stat is invested into, markers can be placed on players. The marker follows them around and persists through servers.
  • Max Markers: The more points that are invested in this stat, the higher your maximum waypoint marker capacity is.
  • Travel Speed: The more points that are invested in this stat, the faster the players are taken from the original location to the waypoint.
  • Charge Speed: The more points that are invested in this stat, the faster the teleport charges.

If Teleportation is Drowned, in addition to the extra Resonance points to spend, the maximum amount of points that can be invested into the Max Markers stat is increased to 7.

If Teleportation is used in combat, it's cooldown is doubled upon usage.

Trivia[]

  • Upon successful teleport, you will be unable to interact with chests for 30 seconds.
  • You can teleport entities if your teleport ring is placed correctly. This includes large entities such as the Deep Widow or other Monsters such as Deep Owls or Stone Knights.
  • In some circumstances, when attempting to teleport, you're met with the message 'something ancient is interfering with your resonance.' This occurs in some instanced dungeons and certain areas of the map, such as Duke Erisia's Manor.
    • You are still able to use Teleportation as a sort of "compass" to make waypoints and guide you on where to go on repeat runs, such as certain hard to reach medal chests in New Kyrsa, or an optimal Galewax route in the Eternal Gale.
      Patchnotes
    • If you ever want to delete waypoints placed in dungeons, you can set waypoints and teleport to them within a Ferryman instanced dungeon.
  • An old practice among users of this bell was to place a waypoint to Lord Regent's manor and then bait people into teleporting there, causing them to be insta-killed if they were not in the Duke quest.
    • Prior to the Verse 2 update splitting Luminants and creating the Duke dungeon, it was possible to do things like teleport the Duke to Etris.
  • There used to be a Resonance point stat called "Ring Size + Capacity", which increased the entity capacity of the teleport sequence and the size of the teleport ring.
  • This resonance is occasionally referred to as Flying Raijin or Flying Thunder God, as it is similar to the powers of a character named Minato in the anime-manga series "Naruto."
    • Although the mark-placement mechanic is similar to the powers of Minato, the actual visuals represent the "Accompany On" ability in HxH, or, as a stretch, Kizaru's flight ability in One Piece.
  • The sound effect that plays when you travel is the Unlimited Void sound effect from Jujutsu Kaisen
  • If you are trapped in somebody else's Gravity Field bell, and that person is standing in your teleportation radius, they will be sent to the destination but you will stay where you are.
  • Teleportation charges faster if you are relatively close by the location you chose to teleport to.
  • Teleportation now cancels if hit during the first 0.5s of its windup. If its windup is cancelled, it isn't put on CD
  • If you have the Tarnished flaw, you will only be able to teleport if you click on the mark too many times.
