An esoteric place even the most pious of men are known to seek out, though all take the secret to their graves.

Temple of Hearts is a location in Deepwoken. It is a bizarre underwater temple found underneath a cliff in The Depths.

Overview[]

The Temple of Hearts can be entered in two ways:

  • Opening the Resonance doors, which requires a Resonance.
  • Having the Deepbound Origin, which grant access to an alternative entrance that only they can interact with.

It's also possible to glitch in by sprinting, jumping and dashing into the resonance door at the same time.

Entering will lead the player into an overgrown hall decorated with underwater foliage and Deep Shrines on the sides.

At the end of the hallway is the Shrine of Yun'Shul, a sprawling altar to one of the mysterious Drowned Gods. Players possessing a Resonance can interact with the shrine and call forth the Voice of Yun'Shul, who can confer upon the player one out of five potential benefits. These benefits range from a rerolling of their Resonance to an instant escape from the Depths, with the main cost to this bargain being the consumption of a "wish". Players who have consumed their wish are unable to bargain with the shrine until it is recharged.

Contents[]

Shrine of Yun'Shul[]

  • A shrine to Yun’Shul. Those wielding a Resonance are able to commune with the shrine, which grants one wish from one of five preset options.
  • Do not attempt to speak to the shrine if you glitched into the Temple, as Yun'Shul will simply kill and wipe you immediately.

Deep Shrines[]

  • All 8 Deep Shrines are present here, including the shrine of Solitude in between Division and Unification.
    • They are (from right-to-left, facing Yun'Shul) the Shrines of Temptation, Order, Chance, Blasphemy, Mastery, and Conceit
      • In between the doors from left to right, it's Division, Solitude, and Unification.
    • These shrines are primarily aimed at the Deepbound Origin, removing the need to leave The Depths early to use them. However, those with a Resonance can also use them for the convenience.

Trivia[]

  • Attempting to commune with the Shrine of Yun'Shul without a Resonance or the Deepbound Origin will cause the player's head to explode, killing them instantly.
