The Entropy Catalyst

Description[]

Location of The Entropy Catalyst

Location of The Entropy Catalyst in the map

The Entropy Catalyst is a location within The Aratel Sea, in an island next to a sea highway and a Luminant gate. It is protected by 2 walls that can be broken through using Mantras that break objects.

This location is a Voidzone, meaning that dying here will send you to the Depths. You can find Pristine Lotuses and Erisore here.

By picking up a knocked person who has an Oath (such as a Blindseer, Dawnwalker, Starkindred, etc), and interacting with one of the four holes, it will sacrifice them and a wind will form about the circle, filling with light and prompting the player to sacrifice 3 more.

As this place is a Voidzone, do note that this will send a character to the Depths. When all four slots are filled, a large glowing orb will emerge from the middle of the pattern. Interacting with this orb will make it explode, knocking back everyone standing nearby. If a player is struck by the explosion, and has met the requirements to become a Linkstrider, they will gain the Oath.

Alternatively, you can pick up Pristine Lotuses here and kill players that have an Oath while you are combat tagged. When 4 of them have been turned into Scarlet Lotuses, return to The Entropy Catalyst and gain the Oath.

Trivia[]

  • The music for this area is Of Labours, Veiled by Naktigonis
  • The sacrificial process is similar to one in Rogue Lineage.
  • The symbol in the middle of it is the Moonseye put over the Suncross.
    • It could therefore be inferred that it represents a solar eclipse.
  • While Erisore can be primarily found in Erisia, it is unknown how it manages to thrive here.
