Description[]
The Floating Keep is a temporary location in Deepwoken. (only found during Hallowtide) It appears to be a medieval keep, and very grand in appearance. The entire island is floating in the air next to the the Isle of Vigils. You can reach this place by interacting with the Jack'o Lantern in the Isle of Vigils near the building that sells attunement training items or at Greathive Aratel near the entrance. It is inhabited by Lightborns of the Spellhardt family. Here players can interact with members of the Spellhardt family and participate in the Halloween Event.
Cathedral[]
In the Cathedral, you can talk to Lysander Spellhardt to start the quest to craft yourself a mask. To create the mask, you need a Shell Stock, a Paperette and a Fine Ink. When creating the mask, there is a chance for it to be of a Mudskipper, Primadon, or an Owl. Once you put on a mask, you can speak to NPCs and scare them (there are at least 87 NPCs you can scare, 13 in the depths and 74 in the overworld), which gives you Hallowtide Joy, which is a form of currency that can be exchanged with Lysander, Glaive, and Galpin for items. Joy can be exchanged for:

Trivia[]
- The music for this area is A Light In The Sky by Naktigonis
- The combat music for this area is A Darkness Beneath by Naktigonis
- Initially, there was a bug where the Void Feather cost 5 Joy instead of the required 15. This was patched quickly.
- The Familiar Priest, Heretic and Knight helmet are direct references to their counterparts from Rogue Lineage, being the Church Knight Helmet, Dark Sigil Helmet and Sigil Helmet respectively.
- Whenever you try to spook Glaive Spellhardt with a Hallowtide Mask, he doesn't get spooked and instead says: "Oh please."
- This location appears in the Battle Royale mode as an "intermission" before the game starts, but there are no Lightborn NPCs
- On October 17, 2023 there used to be a floating gate above the castle. However, it was presumably removed during one of the bug fix updates following the release of Hallowtide.
- For some reason, the floating gate is back in Hallowtide 2024, it's unknown if it will get removed yet.
