Description[]
Way of Navae is a martial arts-based fighting style obtained by rescuing a Nomad from Erisia or Fort Merit, or by speaking to an Eastern Tribal Leader while having high positive reputation with the Children of Navae. While sharing the same statistics as Legion Kata, they differ in M1 animations, stances and critical attacks.
While Way of Navae has the same damage as Legion Kata, the critical possesses more range and is able to instantly guard break if the opponent fails to parry it. While the windup for the critical is longer, this is a great mix up when using your normal M1's which is what usually leads to guard breaks.
After unlocking Way of Navae, you can choose it as your starter weapon in the character menu. Once you unlock Way of Navae, it is available on all slots.
Critical[]
User raises their leg with a slow windup before firmly slamming it down, breaking the opponent's guard.
Obtainment[]
To obtain it, you must find a Navaen Nomad Captive. They are mostly found in Erisia but it is also possible to find them in Fort Merit. Once you've acquired one, you can bring them back to either one of these NPCs:
It may also be obtained by speaking to an Eastern Camp Leader with high positive reputation with The Children of Navae, granting you the Fist Style without having to find and rescue a Navaen Nomad Captive.
Completing either of these methods will grant you the Way of Navae Talent which enables you to use the fist style and unlock it for consecutive uses on the Character Creation screen.
